How to use the PGD Puttu Maker to make Puttu?
Once the water is boiling, fill the Puttu Kudam pot Steamer (1.5 litres) with the puttu incridiance and place the Puttu Making Vessel (kuzhal cylindrical tube) on the Puttu Kudam pot using streamer plate. Allow to steam for 5 minutes or until steam escapes from the Puttu Making Vessel's top holes (cylindrical tube).Remove the Puttu Making Vessel from the pot and set aside for 2 minutes, using the plastic handle to position and keep it in place. Carefully open it and drive the puttu out the back with a metal handle.

Ingredients
- Rice Flour (Coarse)
- Grated Coconut
- Water
- Soft
Fry Rice Flour till golden brown without oil. Spread and allow it to cool. Break chunks if any and transfer to a vide mouthed bowl. Sprinkle salt and water as required to wet the flour and mix_(Granny's test: Mixed flour when pressed in your fist should remain a lump without sticking to your hand). Grote a cup of coconut and keep aside.
Place the Chillu(sieved disc) in the Puttu Maker(Cylindricol unit). Add two table spoons of grated coconut in to Putt Maker from the top. Then add a handful of rice mix. Repeat the filling till Puttu Maker is ready full without pressing. Place lid on the Puttu maker.
How to Cook:
— Boil to steam.
— Place the filled Puttu Maker on the Kudam.
— Wait till steam comes out through tho lid of tho Puttu Makor.
— Remove Puttu Maker horn the Kudarn.
— Remove lid of the Puttu Maker.
— Gently push steaming Puttu out of Puttu Maker using stick on to a plate / Banana Leaf.
